City Diner - Literally across the street from our apartment, I swear we aren't just recommending everything within short walking distance of the apartment, this place has truly classic Jersey eats. Don't miss out on the Arnold Palmers!

Maman - Great coffee shop/bakery right on the waterfront! Great views and great coffee.

Maggie's Farm Espresso - Solid option, close to the hotel.

Prato Bakery - An absolute gem within short walking distance of The Westin. The focaccia sandwiches are always best warmed up - highly recommend Ketan's favorite Mortadella and Pistachio Spread sandwich.

Dosa Spot - Located on the second floor of Newport Centre Mall, it was first known for its iconic food truck and has since made a cozy brick and mortar storefront just a short walk away from the Westin. Ashley's favorite is the Masala Dosa - don't forget to ask for Ghee Roast!

Tacqueria Downtown - Our favorite hole in the wall taco joint! Try the cactus tacos and guac!

Popeyes Newport Centre - The finest cuisine that America has to offer. Only recommended to those with a cultured palette who can handle the flavor explosions of Louisiana dining.

Razza - Voted "The Best Pizza in New York". No, really it was! We recommend a reservation for this one, it's always packed. If you can't get in here, Porta is a great alternative nearby with generally quick seating.

DomoDomo - Sister restaurant to its New York City Michelin Bib Gourmand Winner - great Japanese Cuisine.

Cellar 335 - Our favorite Jersey City restaurant. Unique Asian Fusion with mind blowing drinks (virgin and otherwise). Also, it's right below our Sangeet venue!

Corto - Requires an Uber from the hotel, but has the best rigatoni that New Jersey has to offer. A regular indulgence for the future Mr. and Mrs. Jethwa!

Fire and Oak - Great place with a wide array of options attached to the Westin.

Popeyes Newport Centre - GREAT FOR LUNCH OR DINNER! A masterful option that transcends flavor and enters into the realm of holy food. Golden flaky crusts abound.

The Rooftop at Exchange Place - Excellent views of NYC. Stop by for a quick drink after dinner.

Dullboy - Delicious cocktails and cool vibes.

Junto Attic - Amazing vibes for a small group. Masterful cocktail options.

Departed Soles Brewing Company - Funky beers and funky vibe, located right next to Prato Bakery makes it an excellent post-lunch visit.

Exchange Place Waterfront - Waterfront in the financial district of Jersey City. See panoramic views from the Empire State building down to the Statue of Liberty.

Liberty State Park - See beautiful views of NYC, the memorial, and enjoy peaceful picnic areas.

The Oculus - A very convenient Path Train ride away from The Westin. Can also be accessed via the Paulus Hook Ferry. Located in downtown New York City, it houses beautiful shops and architectural design. Please be mindful of transit times for The Path and Ferry for your return back to The Westin on the event dates.

Newport Centre Mall - Forget something at home? Newport Centre Mall has all of your shopping needs and is located directly behind The Westin. Also home to the world famous Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Marvel at the beauty that is true fine dining on the third floor food court.
